Doc Holliday is a thirty year veteran of broadcasting. Prior to heading up the Sales Training division for Radio Muscle, Doc was a training specialist with the Radio Advertising Bureau. His primary responsibility at the RAB was instructing students in all sales training courses, in both on-site and online training programs. Doc was also responsible for developing curriculum, content, and materials including the RAB’s e-learning program that blended online training with classroom instruction.
Doc began his broadcast career in 1978 as a sales person. In the next 26 years, Doc advanced in his profession as an Account Executive, Local Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, General Manager, and Market Manager. He has successfully led staffs in Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Tulsa, Fort Myers/Naples, College Station, and St. Louis. He also has experience in television sales, the advertising agency industry, and Internet sales and promotion.
Prior to establishing himself as a trainer and teacher, Doc was an avid student of sales, advertising, branding, and management. He studied with many highly-acclaimed trainers and consultants including Norm Goldsmith, Ken Greenwood, Chris Beck, Chris Lytle, Irwin Pollack, Chris Stonick, Dr. Stephen Covey, and Roy Williams (aka The Wizard of Ads).
